Quethiock's location in rural Mid-East Cornwall is perfect for both lovers of peace and tranquillity and for those in search of the great outdoors. A sample of the areas and amenities within easy reach are:

North and South coasts, with extensive beaches and miles of coastal paths.

The market towns of Liskeard (4 miles), Launceston (14 miles), Bodmin (18 miles), Tavistock with its thriving farmers market (18 miles).
The City of Plymouth, with its theatre and cinema complex only 15 miles away over the Tamar Bridge.

Bodmin moor and Dartmoor, providing wonderful walks and famous watering holes, Jamaica Inn, Two Bridges Inn and others too numerous to mention.
Spend a day visiting the Eden Project (16 miles) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan (20 miles).

There are 8 superb golf courses within a 30 mile radius, including the famous Nicklaus course at St Mellion, the stunning links courses at St Enedoc and Trevose.
There are numerous nearby National Trust and other privately owned houses and gardens to visit, including Cotehele and Lanhydrock.
For the more energetic, there are excellent sports facilities at the Liskeard Leisure centre and St Mellion Golf and Country Club, nearby riding stables, and the Tarka and Camel cycle trails.
